The Roots of MY EARTH

My Earth is Golden Generation’s youth-led environmental program launched in 2023 to tackle local waste, pollution, and climate challenges through hands-on community action.

Rooted in education and sustainability, it aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action) and empowers children to lead clean-up drives, tree-planting, recycling, and green innovation in their schools and neighborhoods.

As Golden Generation grew, so did the understanding that environmental responsibility must be woven into the fabric of development—not as an afterthought, but as a core pillar. That’s when MY EARTH became more than a campaign; it became a commitment to making our planet a better and safe space for existence.

Aligned with the Global Mission: UNSDG 13 & Beyond

My Earth directly aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action), which calls for urgent efforts to combat climate change and its impacts. However, the program’s impact ripples across several other SDGs, including:

Golden Generation MY EARTH Methodology

The  program is built on a unique methodology that combines sports training with environmental literacy to foster eco-consciousness in young people. At Golden Generation, we believe that sport is not only a tool for physical development but also a powerful vehicle for learning, leadership, and social change.

Through this approach, children engage in activities like environmental challenges during training, and eco-awareness talks woven into team sessions. Coaches are trained to integrate green lessons into every session—teaching values like responsibility, care for the environment, and teamwork through both movement and message.
